Teenage British girl on the run with her baby

    (IANS)

A British girl, who left school to give birth to a baby girl at the age of 13, is on the run with her ten-month-old child.

Tinishya Marshall, now 14, was last spotted Friday with her boyfriend Howard Norman, 16, who is also missing, police said. He is believed to be the infant's father, the Daily Mail reported Thursday.

Relatives who reported her missing said Tinishya had vanished without taking any baby clothes or her daughter's belongings with her.

Tinishya's mother Liz, who had prevented her daughter from seeing Howard, Wednesday begged her daughter to get in touch.

Liz said Tinishya's pregnancy had stunned the family as she was a quiet girl who 'wasn't really like that'.

She had been seeing Howard for around a year and continued to see him after the baby's birth, even though she was told not to.

Tinishya, who lives at a family home in Bristol with siblings, was last seen wearing a black velour tracksuit with a white top.
